• We are committed to the protection of the environment and to the principles of sustainable tourism; we are members of the Green Tourism Business Scheme and we are listed on the EcoHolidayShop Website.
• We comply with the requirements of environmental legislation and approved codes of practice.
• We try to minimize the risk of any damage to the environment.
• We try to reduce our use of energy, water and other resources, and we encourage our guests to do likewise.
• We try wherever feasible to buy products which have been produced in an environmentally friendly way.
• We try to minimize waste and to reuse and recycle waste wherever possible, and we encourage our guests to do likewise.
• We train our staff to be aware of environmental issues relevant to our business and to understand and comply with our environmental policy in all aspects of their work.
• We maintain a good relationship with the local community.
• We try to conserve the natural environment in which our business is situated and to protect the species which live in it or visit it.
• We continually review the measures which we are taking to implement our environmental policy and consider how we can improve them or add to them.
